will find information on troupe costume workshops. Fabric,
trim and notions not included, but some supplies
will be available for purchase at studio depending
on workshop. Please also see

TROUPE
COSTUME WORKSHOPS
If you are
interested in costuming your troupe for performance
you have come to the right place! We will be happy
to set up a private weekend workshop just for your
troupe. Our weekend workshops cover designing,
fitting, pattern making, cutting and sewing your
garments.
By the end of a
our 12-hour workshop (which is broken into six
2-hour classes) you should have your garments mostly
completed. Your troupe costume will usually consist
of 4 to 6 garments per person depending on the
complexity of your chosen design.
This can include the following items:
~ Cholis (Plain, Fancy or Gypsy)
~ Tops (halter,
tube & angel)
~ Bras (trim,
fringe or coin)
~ Belts
(fringe tassel)
~ Vests (Harem &
Gypsy)
~ Pants (Gypsy, Harem or Flair)
~ Skirts Straight (Egyptian & Asian)
~ Skirts Full Circle (Solid or Split)
~ Ghawazee Coat

~ Skirts Full Circle (Solid or Split)
~ Gantlets (in different styles)
~ Hip Scarves
(Triangular or Curved)
~ Veils (Circle or Rectangular)
